8/11/2021 – Fire Building

Scouts practiced and learned fire-building skills.

8/4/2021 – Trailer Cleanup

Scouts cleaned up the trailer while also cleaning out all the dishes in the chuckboxes.

4/14/2021 to 7/20/2021- Pioneering Merit Badge

Scouts worked on the long pioneering merit badge where they learned an assortment of knots, created structures and practiced important pioneering skills.

4/7/2021 – Hiking

Today’s meeting was a hike on the Seneca Ridge Trail, Scouts hike for around an hour and a half, starting at Black Rock Mill.

3/17/2021 and 3/24/2021 – Birdhouses

Scouts worked on building birdhouses in groups of up to four.

3/3/2021 – Zoom

The meeting was on zoom and Scouts voted on what summer camp the Troop would go to. Also, played skribble.io.

2/24/2021 – Requirements Meeting

Scouts worked on rank requirements at this meeting.

2/17/2021 – Zoom

Today’s meeting was online through Zoom from 7-8 pm. We talked about summer camp and the requirements that some Scouts need to rank up. We also played skribbl.io

2/10/2021- Hiking

The meeting was a hike at Hoyles Mill Conservation Park.

2/3/2021 – Sledding

At this meeting Scouts went sledding at the hill behind the Tokyo Sushi(18301 Leaman Farm Rd, Germantown, MD 20874) in the Kingsview Village, Giant Food complex all while wearing masks and social distancing.

01/20/2021 – Honor Court

At this virtual honor court scouts were able to get publicly recognized for their achievements in front of family and friends.

10/14/2020 – Soap Box Derby

At this meeting scouts continued working on their cars from the previous two weeks.

10/7/2020 – Soap Box Derby

Using the designs they created last week, the scouts began gathering the materials and building their cars.

9/30/2020 – Soap Box Derby

Scouts began working on a soap box derby. At this meeting they planned and designed their initial designs for their cars, all while adhering to Covid protocols.

9/23/2020 – Requirement Meeting

Scouts worked on getting requirements signed off with the help of their patrol leaders. They worked in stations and helped each other in completing their specific requirements.

9/16/2020 – Archery

During this meeting scouts were able to practice their archery skills down by the archery range in the Maryland Soccerplex (in Germantown). They all used the proper safety equipment and watched a safety video prior to the meeting.
